  10. Utility programs are a must for today's computer users.                 
  11.                                                                         
  12. Use THE HYPE UTILITIES to search whole disks for a particular file,     
  13. display the free space on a disk, or even add a directory to your path. 
  14. One very nice thing about these small utilities is that if you run the  
  15. program with no parameters, a Help screen will come up explaining the   
  16. format, what the program does, what it's intended for, and gives some   
  17. examples. THE HYPE UTILITIES ARE:                                       
  18.                                                                         
  19. ~ ALL2DAY.EXE  Display all of the files created today.                  
  20.                                                                         
  21. ~ APATH.COM    Add or remove a directory from your path. It will NOT    
  22.                change your autoexec.bat.                                
  23.                                                                         
  24. ~ BEEP.COM     Nothing fancy to this one, it just beeps.                
  25.                                                                         
  26. ~ DIRS.EXE     Display all of the subdirectories in current directory,  
  27.                similar to DOS's DIR.                                    
  28.                                                                         
  29. ~ FF.EXE       A handy file finder.  Quickly search through a drive     
  30.                volume for that file you can't seem to find.             
  31.                                                                         
  32. ~ FREE.COM     Display available disk space, total disk space, and disk 
  33.                space in use on a specified drive.                       
  34.                                                                         
  35. ~ MEM.COM      Display the amount of free DOS and EMS memory.           
  36.                                                                         
  37. ~ RESTPATH.COM Change to a directory whose name was saved in a file with
  38.                SAVEPATH.COM (Allows batch files to ``remember'' one or  
  39.                more directories.                                        
  40.                                                                         
  41. ~ SAVEPATH.COM Save the current directory for later use by RESTPATH.COM.
  42.                                                                         
  43. ~ SHOWTIME.COM Display the current time, day, month, date, and year.    
  44.                Its output can be funneled into an ASCII text file for   
  45.                logging purposes.                                        
  46.                                                                         
  47. ~ TIMER.EXE    Time program execution. For those who want to know how   
  48.                fast programs run.                                       
  49.                                                                         
  50. ~ TODAY.EXE    Display all files created today in a specified directory.
  51.                                                                         
  52. The best thing about THE HYPE UTILITIES is that they are free.  There is
  53. no registration fee required.
